DESCRIPTION:It’s a really big celebration because not only is it our 20th year of supporting The Sick Children’s Trust\, but it’s also the 25th anniversary of Acorn House at Addenbrookes. That’s lots of years of supporting families… \nSo we’re going all out this year\, so much happening…it’s appletastic! Here’s a quick run down! \n\nBring your own apples and have them turned into tasty juice\nOr (and?!) bring your own apples and get their variety identified by EEAOP.\nCountry crafts and skills\nStreet food vans\, beer\, cider and spirits\nFree Jellycat raffle (yes\, you read that right…it’s an almost metre high Christmas tree\, courtesy of Burwash Christmas Trees!)\nChildren’s entertainment\nTraditional fairground rides\nTractor and pony rides\nAssault course\nMiniature steam railway\nPebble painting\n\nAnd\, as always\, our independent shops and café will be open for you to enjoy! \nOpen from 10am\, £7 entrance\, under 12s free – plenty of free parking. \nWe’re so grateful that you have helped us to raise so much money for The SCT – over £70\,000 since we started our fundraising efforts – this means that families with seriously ill children will have a welcoming place to stay\, close to Addenbrookes\, practical support when they need it most\, and the comfort of being together.
