Exciting things are planned for Burwash
Manor! New buildings, a better car park, more bicycle racks
and safer facilities for children. We have, so far, had five
applications accepted by SCDC - thank you very much to all
those people who wrote in supporting us. All the new buildings
include some large renewable energy projects. Our eventual
aim is to make the site entirely self-sufficient and carbon
neutral, if possible. Some of our current shops will be moving,
into bigger premises, but we are still going to be looking
for new tenants - if you have an exciting idea for one of
our units, please contact us: info@burwashmanor.com.

FOOD HALL
|
 |
|
Any day now, we are going to start
building a new Food Hall which will mean The Larder
(delicatessen) and Leech & Sons (butcher) will eventually
be under one roof, making it easier for you to shop
whilst also increasing the range of fabulous products
on offer - for instance, we also hope to bring a bakery
in too.

ARTS & EDUCATIONAL CENTRE
|
 |
|
Lots of you have told us how much
you like our art exhibitions, so we are going to build
a permanent place for them, plus a base for the educational
access work that we already do on the farm.

NEW LOCATION FOR ROCKING HORSE TOY
SHOP
|
 |
|
We want to develop the third courtyard
at Burwash, in much the same way that we have done the
first two. These will be slightly larger units than
we already have and will include a licensed restaurant.

CAR PARKING
|
 |
|
We want to formalise the 'overflow'
parking area to make it easier and safer to use. To
encourage people not to park in the courtyards, we're
adding more plants, grass and play areas all around,
with just a dozen or so disabled parking spaces.
